I hope you all had a fantastic time in December and that Father Christmas brought you plenty of kits, reference books and tools. I got some nice stuff, though probably like those of you who ordered from me late in December, I got some of my goodies a little late. Royal Mail is apparently not what it used to be... I know for instance of one of my parcels taking 19 days to reach Scotland... Amazing, in the 21st Century!!! So apologies to those concerned. I think I'll have to introduce a cut-off date next December, to minimise those problems. But let's move forward and as I'm talking about Christmas, I must tell you about a little competition I have just launched and that will culminate next December. It'stime to think of ways of using those little Santa figures I sent all over the world late last year: this online competition could be great fun, and should hopefully bring out a lot of very original dioramas. I used the Christmas season to work on several new masters, who joined a few others, earlier ones that have yet to find a new caster. Those things take time, so be patient. I wish I could control the casting process too, but I simply lack the space, experience, time and skills... Oh well...
Anyway, I leave you now with a picture of a then not quite completed 1/72 Belgian T13 Type III master that should hopefully become available as a kit in February. In the background is a resin kit of my 2002 attempt at making a master of this vehicle.
